I wish I had a wishlist.

What is your dreamdoll? Or what is the next one that you're getting?

No wishlist for the moment, although I would gladly have a nother project started. I would want a Narsha but I don't think I get along with tiny dolls easilly. I could give a shot to the new unoa boys, but I've always hated how the unoa dolls pose, all of them, so I don't think it's going to be a must-have for me.
So what about you?

Ldoll 2012 - fin.

Voilà enfin, un petit mot sur le Ldoll 2012, j'ai tellement de choses à dire et en même temps tout mon blabla aura l'aire insignifiant à côté de tous les bons souvenirs que je vais garder précieusement.

J'ai été très heureuse de revoir tout ceux que j'ai pur rencontrer l'année dernière, ceux que je ne vois pas assez souvent et ceux dont j'ai enfin fait connaissance cette année. Je ne le dis pas assez (voir jamais) mais vous m'avez fait rêver avec votre déballage de créativité, de fraîcheur, de partage, d'enthousiasme, et de talent. J'ai beaucoup couru dans tous les sens pour tout voir et ne rien rater et au final je me rends compte que je suis passée à côté de plein de choses et pas profité assez des gens.
J'ai aussi senti pas mal d'exposants fatigués, usés (ce qui est normal, cela dit), j'espère quand même vous revoir dans un an, ne vous découragez surtout pas et continuez à nous faire rêver svp :)

Bref, à tout ceux qui étaient juste là tout comme moi, ceux qui ont bossé beaucoup trop dur pour nous émerveiller, et avant tout ceux qui ont organisé cet évènement aussi génial qu'attendu, un grand merci!

Comme cette année ma propre participation a été quasi inexistante, je vais essayer de me motiver au moins pour les concours à l'avenir, histoire de...contribuer un peu aussi à tout ça comme je peux.
Je suis repartie avec une tête switch pour faire mumuse, des accessoires sympa, un grand sourire et des projets plein la tête que je vais essayer de faire avancer un peu cette année...

One less?

I seriously think about selling this doll. I love its soft pastel color sheme and I really had fun taking pictures of it, but I think I could use some space and time for new ideas.

Pink!

This doll is always photogenic. It's almost exhasperating, none of my other bjd is. Or maybe it's that that I like white, beige and pink color combination...

Should I...?

Lately I was looking at my doll collection and a curisous thought left its seed in my mind - I could sell Ezekiel and get myself the same hybrid combination to have a base for Devin instead. Devin is an aquiatence o Rei's, he is a robot too and one character I would like to explore further on along with his interaction with Rei. The Dollstown elf body would suit him perfectly - much more then it does suit Ezekiel who is, unlike those other two, a real boy.
It would require modding the Dollstown elf body gender-wise yet again of course. This doesn't bothzr me that much though - since Devin is a robot the body mods would be much more deep and interesting then just female-to-male  regular stuff that I do not like doing.
But it would also mean that I need to mod the Zaoll head once again in order to have that lips, nose and eye shape that I like.
Aaaaand now that I think back to it, what gave me much pain about the Dollstown body were the legs : I've modified their shape that looked too chubby and the fat ankles in order to get the elegant thin legs that I like so much on Ezekiel. And that was a pain. And I'm just...not enough into the BJD stuff right now to make myself go through all that work.

New alien-face

I'm working on Vice again, in order to bring his alien-ish dark looks back, so a new face-up, new hands and arms, and even new mods on the face.

I'm looking forward to getting a new wig as well, that character deserves more attention then what I've been giving it this far!

Something raw

Well I've started working on this project after all. I'm having a go at the face first, I hope I'll start the body soon as well - I'm not yet sure what technique I could use in order to make hollow curvy and thin body parts. The face is still very raw, and I have no ided how much time is it going to take in order to have it done.

The face is rather special as you can see, it's male, angular, and a bit cartoon. In fact I really tried to stick to this very particular character of mine:

I have to say that it really looks tiny to me, I wish I would have worked on a bigger format - but I wanted to keep the doll MSD-sized and humanly-proportionate with a small head. But I definetly want to have a SD mold sculpted sometime. But for the moment, I want to keep this going...

Furniture.

Well, looks like I'm keeping this body for th emoment after all. I'm eager to get a shorter wig for this doll so that it could finally start looking more like it's supposed to.  I don't even want to finish it's customization until I have it.

And hell, I swear my pictures don't do it any justice, it looks sooo appropriate in real life, sitting on my shelf. That's one very decorative doll.

Looking for an MSD boy body!

Well it looks like Dollchateau body doesn't quite suit me after all - it's nice, but..yeah, could be better.
I though it would be nice to play around with a different style of sculpture, and it was fun! But it's not something I'd eventually keep for good.-I'm not totally fond of the way it poses, and I actually prefere dolls with simple joints.
-It's very thin, and I do like thin dolls, but this one is thin and tall and doesn't have any shapes that would make it look like a boy.

That being said I'm not sure if I'll be able to change the body though. I'm very picky about those.
 I want a slim, edgy, curvy, nicely built teen-ager body. But a babyboy-chubby style like volks. Not a muscular buldgy style like fairyland. The Unoa body would be perfect in terms of aesthetics (although it could use some broader shoulders) but I used to own one and hate the way it poses.
I found myself interested in the Limhwa 43 boy body of Limho Mono - I like the way it looks although its waist is a bit too girlish.  The thing is I have no idea where to get it, how it poses, what does its color looks like and if it could fit the unoa head I would still like to keep... piece of advice, anyone?

For people who wonder what do I intend to do with the Cerisedolls head: I might use it for another project, I'm not sure yet, but I'm not selling it right now, so please don't ask.

Normally, this doll was supposed to wear a fur hoodie, a knitted scarf, jean shorts and tennis sneakers. And a short wig  of course. I'm getting all of this stuff sooner or later but I couldn't resist the idea of plaing around with some lace, ribbons and corset stuff:

 

Perfect Dead boy

Vergillian Slumber, formerly known as Vergil Crey deceased at the age of 14, frozen to death, has awaken to unlife two years later. He survives by absorbing surrounding people's life forces, searches for his murderer and goes to colledge. He looks very young and skinny compared to his 16 year-old peers, and has a hard time getting a girl to date him.

Voilà encore une fois une passe bizarre que je traverse niveau dolls.
Mon tout dernier projet en particulier - je ne sais plus où j'en suis, ça m'amuse un peu mais au final je ne suis pas 100% contente du résultat. Ni le corps ni les deux moules que j'aime beaucoup ne m'ont finalement pas convaincu tant que ça. Faudrait-il peut être essayer autre chose? Ou laisser tomber? Ou bien laisser tel quel, tant que ça m'amuse, après tout.
Peut être qu'il faut que je me motive à sculpter, mais à bien sculpter, au lieu de pleurnicher comme quoi il y a ci ou ça qui ne va pas, que les formes ne sont pas assez jolies ou les articulations trop chiantes. Encore faut il avoir les bras qui  poussent comme il faut et un minimum de persévérance. Est-ce que j'aurais ça en stock?

Slumberboy - Unoa

Finally posting some pictures of my new doll - and a new dilema.
I got a Dollchateau body that I wanted to use with a Unoa head, yet I also got the Cerisedolls head I totally love. The unoa head suits the body better in terms of color match and proportions. It also suits my character somehow better. The cerisedolls head is just prettier (in my opinion).
So I made basically the same face-up on both, and took some pictures to see how it all works out.
