Flowers are something very special to Ash, they are a sort of a bond to his former life and love, but as a matter of fact the place where he lives - the Growling Woods - is a place where no flower grows. But he almost is a like flower himself, isn't he?

U-no-ash!

The dragon-boy is back?
I got my brand new L-bi madoromi faceplate, modded it and gave it a faceup. I'll need some time to get used to it, but it pretty much looks like Ash to me ^^
It's not the faceup I'm going to keep (it got chipped in the middle of the process >.>), I also need a new wig and a smaller pair of eyes for him. And I'd like to try modding his ears into Ash'es elf ears someday.

Ash est de retour - ou presque.
J'ai reçu la jolie faceplate L-bi maboromi toute fraiche, je l'ai bien amoché, j'ai fais un faceup dessus. J'aurais besoin d'un peu de temps pour m'y habituer, mais on dirait bien que c'est Ash ^^
Par contre il va falloir refaire le faceup que j'ai réussi à écailler en plein milieu du travail -_- Puis il aura besoin d'une wig et de yeux à sa taille aussi. J'aimerais un jour lui faire des oreilles d'elf, mais pas maintenant tout de suite.)

The very second I've started doodeling this overpaint - I have been doomned. I'll have to get that faceplate to give it a try. I mean Ash'es face never looked that fancy on a Karsh sculpt overpaint >.>
Je sais très bien que je n'aurais pas du...
Dans la seconde même où j'ai commencé à gribouiller cet overpaint c'en était finis de moi. Il me faut cette faceplate au moins pour faire un essai.

In the meantime...

In the meantime, I still have a "spare" minifee head that turns out to be temporarily bodyless. Ash needed a new faceup, to be ready when he can get his body back. So thus I gave him one, after a couple of attemps of making him look more serious, I gave up and went for something cuter.

Pendant ce temps, j'ai toujours une tête "de trop" qui se retrouve sans corps. Ash avait bien besoin d'un nouveau faceup, pour être prêt à retrouver son corps dans un petit moment. Aprés une tentative de le rendre plus sérieux, j'ai abandonné cette idée et lui ai rendu son aire d'enfant perdu.



And though I had a bit of fun while painting him, I have even more doubts about the Karsh mold suiting my dragon-boy. It seemed to be a perfect match at the time I got him - my first BJD - but now that I grew used to deal with different sculpts, I'm not that certain anymore. I would really want to attemp this kinda faceup on an una faceplatethat would have to be modded...>w<
Et même si je me suis bien amusée à le peindre, j'ai de plus en plus de doutes concernant le fait que moule Karsh convienne à mon garçon-dragoneux. Et pourtant il semblait correspondre parfaitement à l'époque où je l'avais acheté - mains maintenant que j'ai manipulé et peint plusieurs types de sculpture, je commence à en être moins sure. j'aurais bien envie d'essayer ce type de faceup sur une faceplate unoa que j'aurais modifié au niveau des oreilles et yeux... >w<

Frozen snowflowers

Puisqu'on s'approche à pleine allure des fêtes de l'hiver et qu'il y a toujours pas de neige à l'horizon, il faut bien plus que quelques clichés pour refroidir l'ambiance, mais on va déjà commencer par ça. C'est pas pour rien que j'avais surnommé Ash "perce-neige" :D

With the winter Holydays approaching and a total lack of snow I'd need nomething better then a couple of pictures to make it feel more like winter, but let's start with the pictures anyway%) That's why I keep calling Ash the snowflower after all:

Une petite présentation des objets de ce blog:

Il y en a 3 pour l'instant, 4 dans un futur proche.

Ce sont des personnages qui ont chacun une histoire et leur univers propre, il y a là un mutant, une divinité, un enfant mort-vivant et un alien.

-  Ash, ma première BJD arrivée en Avril 2009. C'est aussi un personnage assez présent dans mes dessins puisqu'il fait partie d'un projet de BD qui date de 2006.

-  Seth, un choix "imposé" par la compagnie Soom, est un personnage apparu en Juin 2009 pour animer mon sketchblog avant tout. La BJD a été mise en vente par Soom fin Août 2009, c'est une édition limitée qui ressemble étrangement, à ma grande surprise, au personnage en question, j'étais donc obligée de l'avoir chez moi :D

-  Blyss est mon personnage le plus ancien, et probablement le plus important, malgré le fait que son histoire n'a jamais été écrite, et que j'ai jamais pu vraiment le cerner en dessin. C'est une faceplate Unoa Lusis madoromi de Alchemic Labo que j'ai modifié et hibridé sur un corps minifée en Novembre 2009.

-  Vice, ma larve d'alien est encore à venir.

Firstly, a bit of an introduction.
There are 3 characters that will be present in this blog for the moment and there will be 4 rather soon. They belong to copletely different worlds and stories, that I might be ablet o tell through pictures and photos.

- Ash is my first BJD and the first BJD that I've seen in person. I bought him a week after this mold was released :D Ash is a dragon-boy mutant that I have been drawing a whole lot and that is part of a comic book project I have since 2006.

- Seth is a strange coincidence. I've made  this character up around June 2009 in order to have something cute and nasty to spam for my sketch-blog. And Soom released this grey-skinned single-horned guy by the end of August. Of course I had to get him :D

- Blyss is my oldest character of all, and thus probably the most important, though I've never managed to write his story down, and the drawings I've previously made of him were a bit of a failure to re-create the character.Blyss is a unoa Lusis faceplate from Alchemic Labo that I've modded and got on a minifee body.

- Vice, my little alien-to-be is still to be ordered.
