Hello, 2015!

Well, let's have with some doll pictures, shall we?  A part of my collection, to start this year with:

I've cut the face out of the head, so it's not for use on a body anymore, but I do plan no body for that doll.

Snejinka

Snejinka, Snej for short stands for Snowflake in russian. It's a Dust of Dolls Lünn - she's tiny, delicate, cute and very curvy^^ And I should be taking more pictures of her sometime.

I'm done with the body carvings, woot.

Still need to paint those and re-paint the face too.

I  don't know if I should carve the face as well though...

Still not done yet. But most of the carving is over!

 

All of a sudden

I have been thinking about opening a Zaoll mouth but never dared to do it. And suddenly...

I can't say if it really works well, but I now am fond of his cheekbones and teeth :D

At least, Vice is back, and I don't totally dislike how he turns out on pictures!

Slumberboy - Unoa

Finally posting some pictures of my new doll - and a new dilema.
I got a Dollchateau body that I wanted to use with a Unoa head, yet I also got the Cerisedolls head I totally love. The unoa head suits the body better in terms of color match and proportions. It also suits my character somehow better. The cerisedolls head is just prettier (in my opinion).
So I made basically the same face-up on both, and took some pictures to see how it all works out.

You can tell that I like Zaoll faces all right, but do you know why?

They are such a pleasure to paint and mod and play around with!

The three of those have a different shape of lips and eyes, and different skintone.

Merry Christmas everyone! And here's a teaser for you :)

I'm mostly done with modding and painting Ezekiel, at least for now.

I'm not sure If I'm happy with it or not, I'm fine with his legs whille the torso makes me feel dubious. 

But  I'll have to wait until I get my camera back , no real pictures for now.

Le bout du tunnel!

Ce n'est pas encore l'aboutissement du projet mais je commence à voir enfin le bout du tunnel! Ezékiel a enfin une tête sur les épaules, et elle va y rester même si ça m'attriste presque de devoir me restreindre au même moule que j'ai déjà pu exploiter deux fois auparavant. Après avoir tenté une Glorydoll Lucy, une Unoa zero, une Zaol Ramie c'est bien une Luv que j'ai choisit pour des rasons évidentes de compatibilité au niveau des proportions mais également pour ses traits de visage aussi féminins que masculins, facilement modelables, qui conviennent bien pour le personnage que je tente d'incarner.

Le visage a donc été modifié, entièrement blushé pour passer du blanc éclatant de la résine white dollmore au jaune-beige du Dollstown Freshskin. Le cou aussi a été modifié car contrairement à la Ramie qui s'hybrde à merveille sur ce corps, la luv (et donc aussi la muse) ayant un headback et un port de tête complètement different ne s'y prête pas aussi bien.
Le faceup es susceptible d'être modifié prochainement mais les grandes lignes y sont. Il me reste "plus" qu'à lui trouve ses yeux, sa wig, peindre et blusher le corps, trouver quelqu'un pour l'habiller...bref, encore du travail :) Mais j'ai une doll entière qui commence à ressembler à quelque chose, c'est déjà ça!

Guess who

A temporary faceup for my Zaoll Ramie. Not quite what I've been expecting. But I had much fun with the mods! Wig and eyes re also mostly temporary... or at least I do hope so.

Cuts and Curves

Teaser time! I'm about 50% done with the body this far. 

That means still half-way to go, so it doesn't look very fancy for the moment, all unpolished and raw. 

 

I'll be telling more about what I'm trying to do here later on :) 

For now I gotta get more sandpaper  and be finishing the resculpting work.

A sort of a doll change meme I did just with zaolls I've recently face-uped. 

The Muse head is just for fun though, the other two are complete dolls of mine.

Soudain j'ai eu l'envie de refaire le faceup de Vice. J'avais du mal avec lui dernièrement à cause des outfits qui ne lui vont pas, sa wig ui ne demande qu'à être changée, son blush qui crie au dissolvant et sa photogénie hasardeuse. Come je ne pouvais pas faire grand chose d'autre, je me suis défoulée sur son faceup.
J'en ai profité pour lui re-modifier sa bouche avec une fausse mini-ouverture.

Si jamais Gu Mi Jung nous sort un Zaoll Boy, il me le faudrait :D Pas pour remplacer Vice, loin de là. Mais je songe à un deuxième SD :D
Quoi que, même si ça arrive, je doute que celui-ci aurait un vrai corps d'homme...:/

Plus sérieusement, je suis toujours contre les changements de sexe forcés sur les corps de dolls.
Et plus je le regarde, plus je me dis qu'aucun autre perso que Vice aurait pu le subir.
J'avais peur de mal accepter le corps-fille-sans-poitrine aux joints simples sinon simplissimes. Mais au final, ça renforce son côté étrange, inhumain, inachevé presquet.

Enfin, je comprend tout à fait qu'on puisse aimer les zaoll boys, mais j'avais vraiment peur que ça me rebute. Surtout après les visions cauchemardesques des modifications fille/mec pas super réussies dont les auteurs font fièrement la démonstration sur flickr et autres DoA.
Puis, les zaolls, il faut le dire, ont quand même un cul énorme. Très joli, et très féminin. Et bien gros comme il faut. Donc virilité = zéro. Et même plus que zéro :  à l'exception d'une malchance épique ou malformations génétiques, un garçon ne peut pas avoir un postérieur pareil, ce n'est pas possible :D Ca m'avais longtemps fais hésiter, et je suis contente d'avoir pris mon temps au final. Aussi bien, que je suis ravie de m'être lancée au final, malgré tous mes apriori.
